yeah she was always busy..
but it did seem like it took strangely long to make opheliac.. like she released a ton of EPs with songs from opheliac before she finally released it. although a lot can happen in 3 years..

I'm pretty sure something very unpleasant happened between Emilie & her family.. that's what I've read several places.. also I think she was only in the mental asylum for a few days, maybe longer but not more than a month.. and it was sometime after the Enchant era and before the Opheliac one.. I know her abortion was when she was on tour with Courtney Love.. but I have no idea when the rape happened or who it was, just that it wasn't her dad.. but I think, for some reason, that it happened when she was rather young but I really have no idea. where did you hear it was all in 3 years?

I joined her forum a year ago, posted a few times and then just quit logging on.. that was before I knew of the drama.. Same.. and then the whole thing with Aromaleigh, and how the mods banhammer anyone on her website who try to say anything about her personal life.. And I feel like a total creep because I found her family's facebook profiles >_> I still don't know why it's so important to her that her real name and birthdate remain secret. It doesn't seem like it should matter. I'm not liking FLAG too much either.. the song, that is. I haven't listened to any other songs on that album. But I did like the "Prick Goes the Scorpion" song she did for Devil's Carnival..

I'm the same way. I've only been listening to her for about 2 years, and at one point I was pretty obsessed with her.. I waited a REALLY long time to buy Opheliac because I couldn't find it anywhere, then right after I bought it I found out the truth about her, like her real name, Emily Fritzges, and that she edits her own wikipedia page; and I found a journal of hers on tumblr that someone posted (no idea how they had it) but it spoke of her eating meat, and throwing fanmail in the trash, and other things. Like she has people who help her hide her identity and all the other lies she's told >.> but I still am in love with her music...
